The Equine Science Program at Sul Ross State University is student operated. Students apply for manager, staff, and training positions each year. Each position has specific requirements that a student must fulfill before they can apply for a position. Students submit a resume and interview for each position. The top position is the Team Leader. This person oversees the entire Equine Center. The Equine Center is divided into four main areas of emphasis. Each area has an assistant manager and staff. These individuals are responsible for all activities that occur in their area of the Equine Science Center.
