Dr. Pendergraft oversees the Equine Science Program at Sul Ross State University and teaches a large variety of courses that range from freshmen level to graduate level. He is currently conducting research in determing the role of omega-3 fatty acids in relation to equine reproduction, exercise performance, and health. He is also continuing his work with the American Miniature Horse as a research model for full sizes horses.
Area(s) of Specialization : nutrition, reproduction, and behavioral modification.

Dr. Terry currently serves as a committee member on several equine science graduate projects.
Area(s) of Specialization : botany, archaeobotany, ethnobotany, phytochemistry and population genetics of cacti, toxicology and pharmaceutical development with emphasis on natural products/phytopharmaceuticals. Terry is a health science and biology undergraduate and graduate advisor.
