Offered during the Summer Session (generally second) of odd years, Field Botany is an intense field study of plants, with various topics emphasized (e.g, trees and shrubs). This course includes several multiple day field trips including destinations like: Big Bend National Park, Mt. Livermore, Coronado National Forest, San Antonio Botanical Garden, Lost Maples State Natural Area, Moody Gardens, Palmetto State Park and Dolan Falls Nature Preserve. Always educational!
