Samantha Best

(B.S., University of North Texas, 2000)

"My research involves studying the transfer of antibiotic resistant genes between species of Gram-positive bacteria, specifically enterococci.

Marcos A. Rodriguez

(B.S., Sul Ross State, 2001)

Interest: "Antibiotic resistant E. coli from the Rio Grande:
E. coli is isolated and analyzed for antibiotic resistance from water and soil samples taken from the Rio Grande headwaters in Colorado to the Gulf of Mexico."
